The Goods
So begins the documentation of my most recent photographic exploits. Enjoy and spread this shit like WILDFIRE because I need good criticism. Here's the first one just to tickle the tastebuds:

I like what you're tryin', but you know my thoughts on this one - I'm not interested in the backdrop so much... it is really in focus and feels contrived... I know where you were going with this - a sort of baroque culture clash, but it falls a little short. No big deal... when is it ever perfect? So, my advice would have been to limit the focus on the model and let the backgroud drop out of focus... leave the imperfect arrangement to the viewer to fill in...
